The Lafayette Room is named for the Marquis de Lafayette, who visited the village during the American Revolutionary War. When you visit, you will experience exceptional Virginia wine country lodging in this charming second floor guest room. The Lafayette Room is awash in rich jewel-tone colors and features a Virginia custom made wrought iron king size bed, country furnishing, and a full private bath with soaking tub and shower combo. Relax by the seasonal wood-burning fireplace or the picture window with a comfy window seat. Enjoy the private balcony with Adirondack furniture that overlooks the spectacular views of the Ashby Inn grounds and the Blue Ridge beyond. The room also has a television, telephone, and a small refrigerator.  This room is not handicap accessible.
